Grab your coffee and breakfast and join a candid conversation with Acia Gray, Artistic Director of Tapestry Dance Company and the Soul 2 Sole Tap Festival. On May 2nd, Acia learned that the National Endowment for the Arts had rescinded hundreds of previously awarded Arts Project Grants — including Tapestry’s grant for the 25th annual Soul 2 Sole Festival, forcing its cancellation. She is one of many artists and organizations impacted by this unprecedented decision. Learn more about the changes unfolding, how they’re affecting our arts community, and what we can do to support the arts now! Pay what you can - all donations will go to Tapestry (a 501c3 non-profit organization - all donations are tax deductible). Donations will be collected before & after class (QR codes for digital donations, cash, or checks accepted).
